Job Title: Cloud Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our team at NearSource Technologies. As a key member of our cloud computing team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software applications that leverage cloud services.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop cloud-based software applications using AWS services and DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Participate in the testing and quality assurance process to ensure software meets the required standards.
  • Apply industry-standard concepts, practices, and procedures to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Exercise judgment and creativity to plan and achieve project goals.
  • Work under general supervision while demonstrating expertise and autonomy in problem-solving.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent self-learning abilities.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and AWS services.
  • Proficiency in Ruby programming language and knowledge of Docker for containerization.
  • Preferred experience with OpenTelemetry or Dynatrace for telemetry and monitoring.
  • Experience with Go programming language is a plus.
