Domestic Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at the Gong Family home in Richmond Hill, ON.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home, ensuring that all areas are tidy and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, wash, wax, and polish floors.
  • Dust furniture and vacuum carpets, rugs, draperies, and upholstery.
  • Make beds, change sheets, and provide clean towels and toiletries.
  • Attend to guest requests for extra supplies.
  • Stock linen closets and supply areas.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Empty trash containers and manage waste.
  • Ensure rooms are inspected and meet standards.
  • Protect equipment and report any issues, damages, or safety hazards.

Requirements:

  • No specific educational requirements; secondary school graduation preferred.
  • Prior experience is preferred.

Personal Qualities:

  • Focused on cleaning details to ensure every corner is clean and tidy.
  • Clearly understand and respond to the employer's needs.
  • Responsible and punctual, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
