Qualifications and Experience

The successful applicant will have the following qualifications and experience:
  • Master's or Diploma in Special Education
  • Current knowledge and experience working with students with both high and low incidence disabilities
  • Current knowledge and experience writing IEPs, developing appropriate programming for students with special needs and conducting school-based team meetings
  • Additional qualifications as per Special Education Services: a Manual of Policies, Procedures and Guidelines
  • Certificate of Qualification from the Teacher Regulation Branch
