Equity Compensation Administrator Senior Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Equity Specialist to join our team at Rippling. As a leading EOR provider, we help businesses hire globally while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and operationalizing equity administration processes for our clients, interpreting guidance from legal and tax professionals, and ensuring compliance with global reporting obligations.
Job DescriptionThis role requires expertise in equity compensation, tax compliance, process improvement, and client support, with a focus on streamlining workflows and automating processes. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in equity compensation administration, global payroll, or a related role, and a strong understanding of equity types (NSOs, RSUs, etc.) and their global tax implications.
ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of this role include:
- EOR Client Equity Program Support:
- Interpret and implement guidance from legal and tax counsel related to equity offerings, including NSOs, RSUs, and other equity types.
- Research and advise on foreign compliance requirements for global equity programs.
- Handle all necessary filings and reporting to relevant tax authorities.
- Client Advisory & Support:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for clients on global equity support, including equity offerings and taxable events.
- Respond to client inquiries with clear and concise guidance on information requirements, timelines, and compliance obligations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, implementation, support) to ensure they understand Rippling's equity support processes, enabling them to effectively advise clients.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in equity compensation administration, global payroll, or a related role.
- A strong understanding of equity types (NSOs, RSUs, etc.) and their global tax implications.
- Experience with global tax compliance and interpreting legal/tax guidance.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
