Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Global Information Security to spearhead our information security vision, strategy, and compliance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping the growth and maturity of our information security program, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving critical initiatives to our customers and program maturity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy, aligning with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability tests to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for information security, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with business development and supply teams to coordinate incoming and outgoing due diligence, information security, and regulatory compliance reviews.
  • Lead and manage a team of IT security professionals, providing guidance, development, and support to ensure the effective execution of security initiatives.
Requirements
  • Over 8 years of experience in compliance or information security roles, with a background in financial services, financial technology, startups, consulting, or other relevant fields.
  • Strong expertise in managing information security programs and risk management.
  • Professional certifications in security management, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.
  • Regulatory compliance expertise, including GDPR, NIST 800-53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey security and risk-related concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and manage and develop a team.
