We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Store Manager to lead our Newmarket location in Ontario.

As a key member of GameStop Canada, the successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing store results by providing exceptional leadership and support to their team. This includes coaching, mentoring, and developing associates daily to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

To achieve this goal, the ideal candidate must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with a proven track record of successfully leading teams to outstanding results. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential.

The role requires at least 1-2 years of experience in store management, preferably in the retail or entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to drive sales growth and improve store performance.

• Develop and implement effective plans to attract and retain top talent.

• Foster strong relationships with team members, customers, and suppliers to build a positive and productive work environment.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the store remains competitive.

• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and achieve company goals.

• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of store management experience in retail or entertainment.

• Proven track record of success in leading teams to outstanding results.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
