Job Description

Job Title: Secondary French Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced French teacher to join our team at School District #38 (Richmond). The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French at the secondary level and will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach French language and literature to students in grades 8-12
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • BC Ministry of Education certification in French language and literature
  • Experience teaching French at the secondary level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
