About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Hampton Inn Suites by Hilton Thunder Bay. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
    • Provide guidance and training to housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all guest rooms and public areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
    • Identify and address any issues or concerns related to housekeeping operations.
  • Inventory Management and Procurement
    • Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to maintain our high standards.
    • Coordinate the purchase of new equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with hotel staff, including front desk, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
    • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues or concerns related to housekeeping operations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
    • Permanent employment
    • Language of work: English
    • Hours of work: 30 hours per week
