About the Opportunity
Commercial Properties Limited is seeking a skilled Facilities Management Specialist to join our team in Nova Scotia. In this role, you will oversee and perform maintenance tasks, conduct site inspections, and ensure a safe and efficient work environment to enhance business operations.

Job Description:
This position involves driving continuous improvements in energy efficiency, maintaining high standards of quality and performance, and ensuring cost-effectiveness. You will partner with the Client Services Team on tenant day-to-day facility management activities to deliver CPL's exceptional tenant experience. You will also coordinate with vendors to ensure timely completion of contracted services, oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary, address tenant requests in a professional and timely manner, perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment, monitor and report energy consumption, and respond to emergency maintenance requests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Client Services Team to deliver exceptional tenant experience
- Coordinate with vendors for timely completion of contracted services
- Oversee contractors for professional repairs
- Address tenant requests professionally and promptly
- Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
- Monitor and report energy consumption
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests

Requirements:
We are looking for an individual with 7-10 years of work experience and a college or university degree/diploma/certification in HVAC, Controls, and/or Building Operations. You should have knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety, strong organizational and time management skills, excellent interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
