Our Development team is growing, and we're seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our ranks. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your expertise in test engineering, unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing will be instrumental in helping us deliver high-quality software to our customers.

The Role

As a QA Engineer, you'll be part of a driven and supportive team that's passionate about delivering value to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing high-quality integration tests, end-to-end tests, and performance tests to ensure fast and reliable iterative development.
  • Creating test plans and test cases in an Agile environment.
  • Collaborating with your team to deliver a high-quality product.
  • Participating in technical discussions and sharing your ideas.
  • Assisting your team in achieving quarterly OKRs.
  • Developing your craft and building your expertise in the field.
What You Bring

We're looking for a skilled QA Engineer with a strong background in software testing and development. Your ideal candidate will have:

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent training/experience.
  • Good understanding of JavaScript, Python, and Java languages.
  • Good understanding of relational databases, especially SQL Server.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing integration testing (API level) with Python or other languages.
  • 3+ years of experience with Selenium-based tools or Playwright.
  • Fluency with Git source control and GitHub.
  • Passion for building engaging user experiences.
  • Self-motivation, goal-driven, and ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the team's success.
  • Experience with Gatling, Postman, .NET Web stack, MVC, Web API, React, Redux, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and Redis is a plus.

Hybrid Policy

We're working on a hybrid schedule, with employees working from the office two times a week. In your first 30 days, you'll:

  • Onboard and acclimate with the Development and QA team.
  • Understand Method's values and how our teams collaborate to drive results.
  • Learn and become an expert on our internal communication tools, norms, and practices.
  • Complete Method's Bootcamp.
  • Work with your manager to build out tailored goals and a plan to set you in the right direction for the upcoming quarter.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 annually.
