Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Specialist to join our team at Kaslo Bay Artificial Breeders. The successful candidate will assist in conducting biological tests and laboratory analyses, as well as set up and conduct biological tests and laboratory analyses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting biological tests and laboratory analyses
  • Conduct microbiological, biochemical tests and laboratory analyses
  • Set up and conduct biological tests and laboratory analyses
  • Conduct or supervise operational programs
  • Boar semen collection
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Standing for extended periods
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a rural area with a clean work site environment. The work setting is in a rural area, and the candidate must be willing to relocate for this position.

Language

The primary language of work is English, and the candidate must be willing to work in a bilingual environment.

Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including 90 hours bi-weekly.
