Job Title: Concrete Forms Carpenter

Bretoba Contracting is seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team. As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Work Environment

Our work site environment is dynamic, with tasks requiring you to work at heights, in noisy conditions, and in dusty environments. You will also be working outdoors and in a construction setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Survey building locations and levels.
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
