Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Ccaa Infant and Toddler Child Care Centre. As an assistant to our experienced educators, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and implementing activities that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support the daily care of infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
  • Engage children in storytelling, singing, and crafts, and assist in preparing snacks and arranging rooms for meals and rest periods.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with educators and supervisors to maintain accurate records and discuss progress and problems at staff meetings.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a child care setting.
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
