Vaco's client is a leading supplier of engineered performance materials. They are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join their team, responsible for delivering key financial information and critical business insights to senior management and other key stakeholders.

About the Opportunity

Business Planning:

  • Develop relationships with various stakeholders and partner with them to prepare budgets, forecasts, and manage and track their performance against set goals.
  • Assist with managing the overall business planning cycle, with a mindset towards continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate the consolidation of budget and rolling-forecast inputs and prepare analysis to the senior leadership team.
  • Perform business analytics and value-added commentary of monthly/quarterly trends and KPI performance.
  • Assist with business acquisition and integration support for modeling through 'what-if' scenarios and sensitivity analyses for management and functional teams.

Treasury Reporting:

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reports, including global cash flow forecast and KPI dashboards (liquidity ratios, working capital metrics, etc.).
  • Perform ongoing monitoring of global cash availability and liquidity across all business operations.
  • Assist with quarterly reporting to lenders, rating agencies, and monitoring of compliance with debt covenants and other credit requirements.
  • Aggregate global information on CAPEX projects, prepare monthly reporting, and analysis that tracks actual vs planned spend, and maintain a rolling forecast for CAPEX.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related area.
  • Advanced degree or CPA/CPA candidate would be an asset.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced business environment.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000/year
