Executive Director, Environmental Conservation

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director to lead our team at the Toronto Botanical Garden. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operations of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Provide strategic direction and vision for the organization, ensuring alignment with our mission and goals.
- Program Development: Develop and implement programs that promote horticulture, conservation, and environmental education.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of staff and volunteers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including donors, partners, and the community.
- Financial Management: Oversee the financial management of the organization, ensuring sound financial planning and budgeting.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 5 years or more in a leadership role, preferably in a non-profit or environmental organization.
- Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Personal Qualities: Collaborative, team-oriented, and passionate about horticulture and conservation.
- Competitive Salary: $1,500,001 - $4,000,000.
