Job Description

Graham, an employee-owned construction solutions partner, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Risk Management Specialist to join our Corporate Services team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the prequalification of subcontractors, ensuring they possess the expertise and experience necessary for our projects.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in risk management, accounting, or finance, with 3-5 years of experience in risk management, commercial management, or supply chain management. They will be proficient in financial analysis and possess excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with internal project teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be passionate about learning and development, thrive in a fast-paced work environment, and adapt quickly to changing situations.

About the Role

  • Lead comprehensive risk assessments of potential subcontractors to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Review and analyze financial statements to evaluate risk, liquidity, and capacity.
  • Develop subcontractor management plans to mitigate default risk.
  • Support the management and administration of subcontractor default insurance (SDI) programs.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote risk management awareness and best practices.
