Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Post Doctoral Fellow to join our team at the BC Cancer Research Centre. As a Post Doctoral Fellow, you will be responsible for the management and conduct of in vivo studies, including pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, safety, toxicity, and efficacy studies focusing on the development of therapeutics for the treatment of cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, conduct, and analyze in vivo studies to evaluate the safety and efficacy of new therapeutics
  • Develop and implement new methods for the formulation and delivery of therapeutics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance the development of new therapeutics
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications
  • Present research findings at scientific conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Requirements
  • PhD in a related field (e.g. pharmacology, toxicology, cancer biology)
  • Experience with in vivo pharmacology and toxicology studies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
