Job Description:

The successful candidate will work closely with business partners to develop and implement category strategies that drive cost savings and optimize spend. This includes taking ownership of assigned network core spend category strategies, collaborating with internal stakeholders to influence and gain buy-in on aligned category strategies, and providing leadership and guidance on best-in-class procurement practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications, network operations, and procurement, with experience managing large and complex projects in the industry. They will possess excellent communication and influencing skills, as well as a strategic mindset and analytical skills.

This role requires a results-driven individual who can execute against multiple projects and excel in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will also be able to build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • University degree in business, engineering, computer science, math, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, telecommunications, network operations, or equivalent
  • Experience managing large and complex projects in the telecommunications industry or network operations
  • Procurement designation/certification desirable
  • Excellent communication, listening, and influencing skills
  • Strategic mindset and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate difficult situations through relationship building and influencing others
  • Results-driven both short and long term
