We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

The Commercial Real Estate Attorney will be responsible for handling complex commercial real estate transactions, including leasing, purchasing, and selling commercial properties. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in commercial real estate, specifically in reviewing title commitments and surveys, drafting and negotiating commercial purchase agreements and leases, and demonstrating expertise in complex real estate transactions involving multi-million dollar commercial properties.

Requirements:

  1. A current Virginia Law License in good standing.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in commercial real estate, specifically in leasing, purchasing, and selling commercial and industrial properties.
  3. Experience in reviewing title commitments and surveys.
  4. Proficiency in drafting and negotiating commercial purchase agreements and leases.
  5. Demonstrated expertise in complex real estate transactions involving multi-million dollar commercial properties.
  6. Experience with various types of commercial leases, including office, retail, and manufacturing space, as well as ground leases and subleases.
  7. Experience with large clients is a plus.
  8. Prior experience as lender's counsel in real estate financing transactions is advantageous.
  9. Some portable business is desirable but not mandatory.
