Job Title: Family Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Edgemont Medical Centre.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting medical examinations, and developing treatment plans to promote health and wellness. They will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and document patient medical information, including medical history, symptoms, and test results.
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations to diagnose and treat various health conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to promote health and wellness, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on healthy habits, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
