We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Skyline Painting Ltd. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, including walls, ceilings, and floors.
  • Painting and Finishing: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Equipment and Machinery Operation: Operate various painting equipment and machinery, including brush painting, conventional spray painting, and roller painting.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and schedule work to ensure timely completion.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; 1 to less than 7 months of experience in painting and surface finishing.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors, underground, at heights, and in confined spaces.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to distinguish between colors, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding work.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions

37 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term and English as the primary work language.
