Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at Drake International Inc. in DRUMMONDVILLE. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to transport goods and materials within the warehouse
  • Perform general warehousing tasks such as order preparation, unloading, loading, receiving, repacking, and shipping
  • Work safely and follow established procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • Maintain an organized and clean environment
  • Use various software applications to proactively monitor and manage service performance
  • Perform related tasks to meet business and customer needs
Requirements
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • At least 2 years of forklift experience (counterbalance)
  • Proof of clear criminal record check (no older than three (3) months) from time of hire
  • Ability and willingness to work shift work, including evenings and weekends
  • Able to handle heavy lifting up to 75 lbs and perform proper handling techniques to avoid accidents and damage
  • Ability to work in an environment of physical activity, including bending and stretching for extended periods of time
  • Follow all company expectations to promote a safe work environment and perform all work safely in a fast-paced work environment
  • PPE must be worn at all times
  • Ability and willingness to work outside in varying weather conditions
  • Must possess a valid forklift certification
  • Must possess CSA approved, steeled toed safety boots

  • Monday to Friday 4am-12:30pm
