About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer to join our team at Scriptbox. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's web applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with clients to understand their website requirements and develop solutions to meet their needs.
  • Design and develop web applications using a variety of programming languages, including HTML, XML, JavaScript, JSP, and SQL.
  • Source and select information for inclusion on our website, and design the appearance, layout, and flow of the site.
  • Create and optimize content for our website using a variety of graphics, database, animation, and other software.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop website graphics, content, capacity, and interactivity.
  • Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls to ensure the integrity of our web applications.
  • Write, modify, integrate, and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Work setting: Consulting firm.
  • Computer and technology knowledge: HTML, XML, JavaScript, JSP, SQL.
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail.
  • Personal suitability: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, initiative, judgement, organized, team player.
