Audit Manager

The Audit Manager is a key role within Citi's Internal Audit team, responsible for performing moderately complex audits and assessments of the company's risk and control environments. This position requires a high level of subject matter expertise to ensure that Citi meets audit standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, execute, and deliver audit reports in a timely manner, adhering to Internal Audit and Regulatory standards.
- Review and approve the Business Monitoring Quarterly summary and serve as lead reviewer for all reviews.
- Collaborate with teams across the business to determine the impact on the overall control environment and audit approach.
- Manage audit activities for a component of a product line, function, or legal entity at the regional or country level.
- Leverage comprehensive expertise to manage a team and advise the business on change initiatives.
- Recommend interventions to issues, propose solutions for risk and control problems, and partner with Directors and Managing Directors to develop approaches for broader corporate issues.
- Apply in-depth understanding of Internal Audit standards, policies, and regulations to a specific product or function area.
- 6-10 years of relevant experience.
- Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA, or similar) preferred.
- Effective comprehension of the business side of the audit function and subject matter expertise regarding technology application.
- Effective verbal, written, and negotiation skills.
- Effective project management skills.
- Effective influencing and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment.
- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
