Job Summary

Sylvite is seeking a skilled DZ Truck Driver to join our team. As a DZ Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck and trailer, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, and adhering to all laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck and trailer are in good working condition.
  • Operate a truck and trailer safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload trailer contents in a safe manner, following required procedures.
  • Deliver and pick up loads at customer locations, following customer requirements for access to dock doors and exit from truck yards.
  • Participate in modified work or other miscellaneous duties as required.
  • Report all accidents to the Fleet Manager immediately and fill out all accident information on site.
  • Comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Standards, hours of work, and maximum hours worked between breaks.
Requirements
  • 2 years verifiable experience as a DZ Driver.
  • Good CVOR and Abstract.
  • Clean Police Clearance Certificate.
  • Successfully passing an extensive company-provided road test.
