Job Summary

Kamloops Mental Health and Substance Use (MSHU) Cognitive Remediation Team has an immediate full-time Occupational Therapist opening.

About the Role

  • Provide assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of cognitive remediation programs for MSHU clients.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to promote functional independence and optimal health outcomes.
  • Provide work direction to Rehabilitation Assistants and contribute to the development of rehabilitation programs.
  • Operate within a client-centered approach and make a substantial contribution to the team.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.
  • Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professions of British Columbia (CHCPBC). Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists or British Columbia Society of Occupational Therapists.
  • Valid Driver's license.
