About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Associate to join our team at The Local Leaf Cannabis. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels and reordering supplies as needed.
  • Merchandise Display: Assist in the display of merchandise, ensuring a visually appealing and well-organized store environment.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, providing support with foreign credential recognition.
  • Support for Youths: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people, providing support and guidance as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Availability: 30 hours per week.
