About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Mover to join our team at Wrap and Move INC. as a Logistics Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload products and materials from trucks, trailers, and other equipment.
  • Material Handling: Move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, such as dollies and hand trucks.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment, including strapping machines, light trucks, reach trucks, and pallet lifters.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, including wrapping and packing goods as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, including sorting, crating, and stacking goods.
  • Transportation: Transport and distribute materials and goods to clients in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, with occasional work in a warehouse or office setting.
  • Work Setting: Trucking company or moving and storage company.
