We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Harvesting Labourer to join our team at Avina Fresh Produce Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables and other crops in a fast-paced environment. This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hand harvesting vegetables and other crops
  • Picking row and orchard crops
  • Loading, unloading, and transferring crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry
  • Operating fruit and vegetable harvesters
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Reliability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a rural area, with a focus on other miscellaneous crop farming. The work site environment is physically demanding, with repetitive tasks and a fast-paced environment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours:

The successful candidate will work 40 to 60 hours per week.
