Convenience Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Convenience Store Operations Manager to join our team at J&P Variety #2. As a key member of our retail business, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our convenience store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and Control Daily Operations: Supervise and manage the daily activities of our store, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
- Evaluate Daily Operations: Analyze and evaluate the performance of our store, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement plans to achieve business objectives, including setting goals, prioritizing tasks, and allocating resources.
- Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Supervise and manage a team of 3-4 staff members, assigning tasks and responsibilities to ensure that all areas of the store are covered.
- Study Market Research and Trends: Conduct market research and analyze trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the impact of competitors' operations on sales.
- Determine Merchandise and Services: Decide on the types of merchandise and services to be sold in our store, ensuring that they meet the needs of our customers.
- Implement Price and Credits Policies: Develop and implement pricing and credits policies to ensure that our store remains competitive and profitable.
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and implement marketing strategies to promote our store and increase sales.
- Plan Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Develop and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure that our store remains financially stable.
- Determine Staffing Requirements: Determine the number of staff members required to meet the needs of our store, ensuring that we have the right people in the right roles.
- Resolve Issues: Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other problems that may impact our store's operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail business or convenience store environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Urban area, convenience store, retail business.
