Job Title: Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our team in the Permian/Delaware Basin of West Texas and Southeast New Mexico. This is a fly in/fly out position on a 2 week on/2 weeks off rotation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and test PLC/HMI/Scada programs.
  • Perform FAT, commissioning, and field service.
  • Create technical documentation, including control narratives, test procedures, user manuals, and installation/commissioning manuals.
  • Provide support to project managers with a solid understanding of project execution procedures and functions such as scheduling, budget development and maintenance, and scope tracking.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in PLC/HMI design and programming in the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience with PLC programming using vendor systems such as Wonderware, Rockwell Allen Bradley, GE, Siemens, Horner, Moscad, and Ace Motorola Controllers, GE iFix.
  • HMI programming experience with vendor systems such as Wonderware System Platform, Rockwell Factory Talk SE, Factory Link, Citect, Telvent, etc.
  • On-site commissioning and start-up experience.
  • Understanding of industrial environments, engineering, and production processes.
  • Excellent English, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean abstract.
  • Ability to travel and work away from home.
