About the Role:
- Prepare personal and corporate tax returns with accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist and independently prepare corporate and personal tax planning, including dividend vs. salary calculations.
- Develop a strong understanding of Canadian taxation and its applications.
- Maintain client files in a paperless methodology, ensuring seamless access to information.
- Independently research tax issues and collaborate with the team to determine solutions, including correspondence with regulatory bodies.
- Work directly with clients to provide exceptional service and support.
- Effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
- Identify opportunities for value-added services and implement them to enhance client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a Canadian Public Accounting practice.
- Strong understanding of Canadian taxation and its applications.
