Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Environmental Management Specialist - Water Modeling to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our water resources technical community, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality projects that meet client needs and expectations.

About the Role
This senior-level position requires strong technical expertise in water quality modeling, hydrology, and environmental impact assessment. You will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for clients. Your responsibilities will include leading model development, calibration, and validation, as well as preparing technical reports and presenting findings to clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead modeler responsible for technical execution of existing project work related to water quality studies
- Develop conceptual models to meet specific project needs
- Model development, calibration, and validation
- Prepare technical reports, memoranda, presentations, and other project deliverables

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 8-10+ years of consulting experience in water resource management, impact assessment, and permitting
- A university degree in chemistry, geoscience, engineering, or a related field (M.Sc. or higher preferred)
- Strong programming and coding skills (e.g., R, VBA, Python)
- Solid grasp of key regulatory drivers within the mining sector and broad knowledge of mine impact assessment best practices
