About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team at CMC Mechanical Ltd. As an Insulation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the energy efficiency and comfort of our clients' buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Insulation Installation: Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools, and apply and secure insulation using various methods.
  • Task Management: Estimate costs and materials, and assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment as needed.
  • System Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Worksite Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by following safety protocols and procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in insulation installation, or equivalent education and training.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and manual dexterity. Steel-toed safety boots, gloves, and a safety harness are required.
