Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute small-scale projects, including managing work plans, contractor bidding documents, and procurement while ensuring quality and resolving issues.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, maintain project documentation, and liaise with government and regulatory contacts for applications and submissions.
  • Oversee and forecast project costs, monitor site progress against plans, and handle administrative duties such as claims and invoices.
  • Identify and manage project risks with a maintained risk register, and ensure technical input is accurate and approved by leadership.
  • Establish and manage a system for tracking and progressing project documentation, and support the analysis of environmental and regulatory risks.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 6 years in project management, preferably within environmental projects, and over 4 years in regulatory and environmental consulting. Strong business, financial acumen, and proficiency in MS Office suite are required.
  • Technical Diploma or University Degree in environmental science, engineering, or related discipline, with eligibility or possession of a professional designation (e.g., P.Eng., PMP). Additional education in business management or project management is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing decision-makers and building effective relationships with key stakeholders, complemented by strong interpersonal skills for both independent and team-based work.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment, with a proactive problem-solving approach and strong initiative.
  • Proven capability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across diverse backgrounds and organizations, with a focus on teamwork, collaboration, and conflict resolution.
