Job Summary

We are seeking a University student for an RFIC design position in our Diversified Analog Solutions business unit. This is a 1-year position that will provide the student with a well-rounded introduction to the RF electronic component design environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lab testing and characterization of highly integrated Wi-Fi Front end modules
  • Contributing to the research and development of advanced analog and RF integrated circuits for wireless (Wi-Fi) technology
  • Assist in new product engineering and design activities
  • Communicate with employees at all levels in the organization and demonstrate excellent problem-solving, data analysis, and critical thinking skills
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a BS, MS, or Ph.D. academic program in Canada (Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics, or related)
  • Knowledge of electronic circuits and principles
  • An interest and aptitude in the art of RF/microwave and analog circuit design and measurement
  • An interest and aptitude in semiconductor device physics and integrated circuit design
  • Desirable knowledge/experience includes familiarity with ADS, Cadence, SPICE, or similar design tools
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel and Word) and have an aptitude for quickly learning other company-specific software
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills
  • Good communication, organization, and documentation skills
What We Offer

The typical pay range for an intern is CAD $44.00 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on level of education and the ultimate job duties and requirements.
