Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our interprofessional healthcare team in our 16-bed acute care department.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and quality patient-centered care
  • Reflect the shared vision and values of Alberta Health Services
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to utilize nursing processes and critical thinking skills

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NRP certification
  • LEAD II certification
  • CAM A and CAM B certifications
  • TNCC certification
  • 1 year of experience in acute care
  • 1 year of experience in emergency department
  • Obstetrical experience in post-partum
