• Zoning the department to ensure a visually appealing and easy-to-shop environment
• Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise
• Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and discrepancies
• Adhering to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates to maintain a safe and healthy shopping environment
• Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and maintaining features to ensure efficient store operations
• Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including keeping the area neat, clean, and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids
