Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at St. Catharines PhysioHeal & Massage. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential support to our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in the rehabilitation of patients with various injuries or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals in the development and implementation of treatment programs
  • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists
  • Develop information materials for patients to promote their understanding of their treatment plans
  • Follow through on treatment programs with patients to ensure their progress and well-being
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining inventory of equipment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. You will be required to work shifts or be on-call, and must be available to work in a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting.
