Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at Edo Japan. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas during your shift.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Oversee the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring that high-quality standards are met.
- Train Staff in Job Duties: Provide guidance and training to staff members on their job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified staff members to join our team.
- Ensure Quality Control Standards: Monitor and maintain the quality of food and service to meet our high standards.
- Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly to customer complaints and concerns, ensuring that issues are resolved efficiently.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare Reports: Submit regular reports to management on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with high energy levels.
- Work Under Pressure: Manage stress and work effectively under pressure.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, moving around the kitchen and dining areas as needed.
- 1 Year to Less Than 2 Years: Have at least 1 year of experience in a food service role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Permanent Employment: Be available for permanent employment, working a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Language of Work: Be fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
