Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Crew member to join our team at Radius Recycling. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of vehicles to produce core and scrap products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Conduct degarbage and drain operations to remove hazardous materials and prepare vehicles for disassembly.
  • Set and pull vehicles on wheel stands to enable customers to access sellable parts.
  • Perform field, ground, and table decore operations to dismantle engines and transmissions.
  • Operate tire machines to separate rubber tires and wheels.
  • Collect and harvest core dismantled core materials and remove debris.
  • Assist customers as needed and review and complete logs for regulatory and tracking purposes.
Requirements
  • Ability to wear and maintain all prescribed PPE and follow basic safety practices.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and comprehend basic safety messages and labels.
  • Ability to complete safety, environmental, and code of conduct training.
  • Able to work required hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Ability to work efficiently in various weather conditions.
Physical Demands
  • Standing, walking, bending, and stretching are required regularly to perform customer care, production, and environmental/safety responsibility functions.
  • Manual dexterity to handle tools and ability to move 50 pounds are regularly required to perform routine functions.
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions on a regular basis.
  • Periodic exposure to minimal chemical hazards.
