Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Paul Davis. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of all assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the company's principles of honesty and integrity in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with Estimating/Sales personnel to prepare work orders for new projects.
- Maintain open communication with property owners throughout the project.
- Schedule and coordinate project timelines, including pre-construction meetings, sequencing, and trades assignments.
- Ensure timely start of projects and secure necessary permits.
- Coordinate inspections and administer work orders or schedule employee assignments.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and project flow.
- Ensure professionalism in all aspects of project management, including workmanship, homeowner relationships, safety, cleanliness, and tradespeople conduct.
- Manage projects to ensure speedy conclusion and completion.
- Communicate project progress and completion to associates and CSR.
- Handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Oversee punch list completion, obtain completion certificates, and collect funds.
- Deliver completed job files to associates for closing.
- Work with Estimators to collect payment on closed jobs in a timely fashion.
- Monitor and achieve good performance metrics on job margins, schedule, and performance metrics on insurance company's scorecards.
Requirements
- Strong project management skills and experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
