Job Summary:

The Production Assistant will provide administrative support to the production team, ensuring the smooth operation of film and video productions. This role involves a variety of tasks, including note-taking, scheduling, and coordinating travel arrangements.

Responsibilities:
  • Take detailed notes of all actions, positions, and camera angles, and photograph and date scenes
  • Rig, place, move, and dismantle sets, backdrops, scenery, and other stage equipment
  • Arrange schedules and coordinate travel arrangements
  • Assist with the preparation of materials and equipment for filming
  • Provide general administrative support to the production team
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Work Environment:

The Production Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines. The role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
