Job Summary:

Experiencejet Services is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our dynamic team of aviation professionals. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our web applications, ensuring seamless customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy web applications using a range of technologies, including JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS, and PHP.

  3. Technical Support: Collaborate with the IT team and other stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and provide expert advice on IT-related matters.

Requirements:

  1. Citizenship: Must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant, eligible to work in Canada.
  2. Education: A degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely, both written and verbally.
  4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft operating systems, and a range of programming languages, including JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS, PHP, and SQL.
  5. Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of prior work experience in software development, with a strong background in web application development.

Desirable Skills:

  1. JavaScript Frameworks: Experience with JavaScript frameworks, including JQuery.
  2. Database Management: Knowledge of database management systems, including MySQL, Maria, and other SQL variants.
  3. API Development: Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
  4. Web Development Frameworks: Familiarity with web development frameworks, including Laravel and MVC architecture.
  5. Operating Systems: Comfortable working with multiple operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
  6. Version Control Systems: Experience with distributed version control systems, including GIT and Mercurial.
