About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Watson Enterprises Inc. as a Purchasing Agent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Procurement
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the needs of our organization.
    • Source and purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services.
    • Assess requirements of our establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
  • Contract Management
    • Consult with suppliers to negotiate contract terms and conditions.
    • Review quotations and determine the best value for our organization.
    • Establish delivery schedules and monitor progress.
  • Logistics and Operations
    • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of our organization.
    • Provide customer service and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Computer and Technology
    • Utilize MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to manage procurement processes.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large caseload.
    • Collaborate with our team to achieve our goals.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule
    • 30 to 40 hours per week.
