About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vineyard Worker to join our team at 0988081 BC Ltd. As a Vineyard Worker, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to viticulture, including applying fertilizers, cultivating on vertical farming systems, and maintaining the growth of vines and grapes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply fertilizers and other chemicals to promote healthy plant growth
  • Cultivate on vertical farming systems to optimize crop yields
  • Maintain and manage the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes
  • Pick row and orchard crops at the optimal time
  • Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts to promote healthy plant growth
  • Shear and shape trees and plants with a knife to maintain their shape and promote healthy growth
  • Tie and secure plants to trellises or other supports
  • Weeding to prevent competition from weeds
  • Clean the work area to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Fertilize and spray crops to promote healthy growth and prevent pests and diseases
  • Examine the product for quality and its readiness for the market

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Repetitive tasks, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
