About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Smitty's Restaurant & Lounge. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve staff performance
  • Restaurant Operations
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service
    • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are met and maintained
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Develop and implement marketing plans to drive sales growth and increase customer engagement
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong leadership and team management skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
