About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at Atlantic Roll Forming Inc. as a key member of our construction projects team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and develop accurate estimates
  • Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards
  • Develop and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to advise on tendering procedures and monitor contract expenditures
  • Maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors, ensuring up-to-date information for future projects
Requirements
  • College or CEGEP education
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in English language
