Job Title: DevOps Engineer

About the Role:
US Tech Solutions is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and supporting various cloud and automation projects. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot potential issues in pipelines and applications.
  • Interact with internal users through ITSM and Jira ticketing system.
  • Escalate issues for junior cloud operations team members.
  • Develop automation, including serverless code deployments.
  • Design, architect, and improve CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to cloud and automation projects.
  • Manage over a thousand cloud accounts.
  • Document processes, architecture, and tools on Confluence page.
  • Deploy infrastructure-as-code.
  • Research new technologies and perform proof of concept.

Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert knowledge of AWS.
  • Expert knowledge of Python.
  • Expert knowledge of Git.
  • Automation qualifications.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Expert knowledge of Terraform.
  • Good knowledge of Ansible.
  • Good knowledge of REST APIs.
  • Good knowledge of YAML and JSON.
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Good knowledge of backend programming.
  • Financial experience.
  • Experience with Javascript.
  • Experience with databases.
  • Experience with building REST APIs.
  • Experience in building web applications.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field.
