Radiologist - Medical Imaging Specialist

About the Role:

SickKids is seeking a highly skilled Radiologist to join our team. As a Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting medical images to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods
  • Study the nature, cause and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases
  • Act as consultants to other physicians
  • Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. The role involves standing for extended periods, walking, and bending, as well as working in a combination of sitting and standing positions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry
  • 5 years or more of experience
  • Relocation costs covered by employer
